March '24 ICT exports reached $188.2 billion, imports reached $117.1 billion, and the trade balance was provisionally recorded at a surplus of $71.1 billionIn March, ICT exports grew by double digits for the third consecutive month, with positive records across major items such as semiconductors, displays, mobile phones, computers and peripherals, and semiconductors recording the highest performance of the year*.

By item, the increase was seen across major items such as semiconductors (33.9% +), displays (13.0% +), computers and peripherals (20.3% +), and mobile phones (6.6% +). By region, China (including Hong Kong, 32.5% +), Vietnam (6.7% +), the United States (22.8% +), and the European Union (10.5% +) increased, while Japan (△25.0%) decreased.

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) imports* (US$11.7 billion) decreased by 1.2% year-on-year (US$11.85 billion) due to lower imports of computers and peripheral equipment and secondary batteries.

’24년 3월 정보통신산업(ICT) 수출은 188.2억불, 수입은 117.1억불, 무역수지는 71.1억불 흑자로 잠정 집계되었다3월 정보통신산업(ICT) 수출은 반도체, 디스플레이, 휴대폰, 컴퓨터 및 주변기기 등 주요 품목 전반의 플러스 기록 및 반도체의 올해 최대 실적 달성* 등으로 3개월 연속 두 자릿수 증가**하였다.

품목별로 반도체(33.9%↑), 디스플레이(13.0%↑), 컴퓨터·주변기기(20.3%↑), 휴대폰(6.6%↑) 등 주요 품목 전반이 증가한 것으로 나타났다,  지역별로는 중국(홍콩 포함, 32.5%↑), 베트남(6.7%↑), 미국(22.8%↑), 유럽연합(10.5%↑) 등은 증가, 일본(△25.0%)은 감소하였다.

정보통신산업(ICT) 수입*(117.1억불)은 컴퓨터 및 주변기기, 이차전지 등의 수입 감소로 전년 동월(118.5억불) 대비 1.2% 감소하였다.
