Samsung TVPlus, a free ad-supported streaming TV service that has been aggressively expanding its channels recently, has launched Pickleballtv;

Following the launch of Tennis Channel in 2023, specialized sports channels are being added to FAST one after another.

Sports programs have high repeat viewership and long viewing hours, so FAST platforms are rushing to add them. News and sports channels are the most preferred genre channels for FAST platforms.

A mix of tennis, ping-pong, and badminton with just the right amount of rules, pickleball is a family-friendly outdoor game. It involves passing a plastic ball across a net on a smaller court than tennis.

The United States is in the midst of a pickleball craze. As of 2023, there will be over 36 million people playing pickleball. After all, where there's an audience, there's content.

2023년 테니스 채널을 편성한데 이어 전문 스포츠 채널들을 FAST에 속속 편성하고 있는 것이다. 스포츠 프로그램의 경우 반복 시청이 많고 시청 시간도 길어 FAST플랫폼들이 앞다퉈 편성을 늘리고 있다. 뉴스와 스포츠 채널은 FAST플랫폼들이 가장 선호하는 장르 채널이다.
