This video was created by AI, not humans. This is a promotional video for AXIOS, a new media company, created by Israeli startup Lightrix using LTX Studio.

Lightricks (Lightricks) has announced the release of LTX Studio, a text-to-video AI video tool for creating videos using text. LTX Studio uses text commands (prompts) to create video characters, scenes, storyboards, and even entire movies.

Solutions that use AI to turn text or image prompts into video are constantly evolving. These AI tools are widely used for storyboarding, video production, video generation, and more. Examples include OpenAI Sora and Runway.

LTX Studio has similar capabilities to text-to-video (T2V) AI solutions.  However, LTX Studio is designed for a higher level of editing and control in feature-length productions. It aims to be as functional as a real movie set. In particular, LTX Studio is browser-based, so it can be used on a variety of devices, including PCs, tablets, and smartphones.

The rise of gen AI is disrupting Hollywood. The era of AI production, where AI is in charge of a movie from end to end, has accelerated. AI showrunners are in full swing.  This raises concerns about job losses such as design artist. The role of popularity in film and TV creative work is bound to change.

이 영상은 사람이 아닌 AI가 만들었다. 뉴미디어  악시오스(AXIOS)가 이스라엘 스타트업 라이트릭스의  ‘LTX스튜디오’를 이용해 만든  ‘악시오스 홍보 영상’이다.

라이트릭스(Lightricks)는  텍스트를 이용해 비디오를 만드는 T2V AI 비디오 툴  ‘‘LTX스튜디오(LTX Studio)’을 내놓는다고 밝혔다. LTX스튜디오는 텍스트 명령어(프롬프트, Prompt)를 이용해 영상 캐릭터, 씬, 스토리보드, 더 나아가 전체 영화까지 만들 수 있다.

AI를 이용해 텍스트나 이미지 명령어(Prompts)를 영상으로 변환시켜주는 솔루션들은 계속 발전하고 있다.

이들 AI 툴은 스토리보드, 영상 제작, 비디오 생성 등에 폭넓게 쓰인다. 오픈AI의 소라(Sora)와 런웨이(Runway)가 대표적이다. LTX스튜디오도  T2V(Text to Video) AI 솔루션과 비슷한 기능을 가지고 있다.

그러나 LTX스튜디오는 장편 제작에서 더 높은 수준의 편집과 제어가 가능하도록 설계됐다. 실제 영화 현장에 사용할 수 있을 정도의 기능을 추구한다. 특히, LTX스튜디오는 브라우저 기반이므로 PC, 태블릿, 스마트폰 등 다양한 기기에서 사용할 수 있다.

생성AI 기술의 발전으로 할리우드도 위기다. 이제 영화의 기획부터 개봉(end to end)까지 AI가 책임지는 AI프로덕션의 시대도 빨라졌다. AI쇼러너가 본격화된 것이다. 이에 따라 일자리 감소에 대한 우려도 높다. 영화와 TV 창작 업무에서 인기의 역할이 달라질 수 밖에 없다.
