Podcasts are an evolving way to listen to your favorite music, issues you care about, news, and more. In recent years video podcasts, which combine audio and video, have emerged and are increasingly consumed.

At the same time, the landscape of free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) is expanding.

FAST has now moved into audio platforms.

Cineverse, a provider of the FAST platform and streaming technology, announced that it will launch FAST Channels on Spotify, the world's #1 audio streaming platform.

"Cineverse's FAST Channels are now available on Spotify," Cineverse said in a press release"including Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan, Land of the Lost, Entrepreneur Elevator Pitch, The FBI Files, and comedy channels such as Jeff Dunham, Jim Gaffigan, Eddie Griffin, Tiffany Hadish, Kathleen Madigan, and more."

좋아하는 음악이나 관심 있는 이슈, 뉴스 등을 듣는 팟캐스트(Podcast)는 진화하고 있다. 최근에는 오디오와 비디오가 결합된 ‘비디오 팟캐스트(video podcast)’가 등장했고 소비량도 점점 늘고 있다.

동시에 무료 광고기반 스트리밍 TV(Free Ad Supported TV, FAST)의 지형도 넓어지고 있다.

FAST는 이제 오디오 플랫폼에도 진출했다.

FAST플랫폼 및 스트리밍 테크놀로지 사업자 시네버스(Cineverse)는 글로벌 1위 오디오 스트리밍 플랫폼 ‘스포티파이(Spotify)’를 통해 FAST채널을 런칭할 것이라고 밝혔다.  

시네버스는 보도자료에서“이제 시네버스의 FAST채널을 스포티파이를 통해 볼 수 있다”며 “ Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan, Land of the Lost, Entrepreneur Elevator Pitch, The FBI Files,  Jeff Dunham, Jim Gaffigan, Eddie Griffin, Tiffany Hadish, Kathleen Madigan 등의 코미디 채널도 스포티파이에서 서비스된다”고 설명했다.
